The mission of Make-A-Wish® Canada is to create life-changing wishes for children with critical illnesses. The impact of a wish on a child and their family is profound. When children are battling a critical illness, so much of their childhood is taken from them. It is emotionally and physically exhausting. Granting a wish gives children the opportunity to look outside their illness—it restores a sense of childhood and normalcy back to the child and their family.
Chau’s eldest daughter, Layla, was born premature at a mere 3 and a half pounds. Chau spent a month in the hospital with Layla when she was born and saw firsthand as a parent the importance of joy and hope while navigating difficult times. That is why the mission of Make-A-Wish® Canada is so close to our hearts.

Working With Make-A-Wish® Canada
Our partnership with Make-A-Wish® Canada started three years ago with the creation of our Precious Forever Children’s Jewellery collection. As mothers themselves, Paris Jewellers Co-Owners Chau and Trang wanted to create an affordable children’s jewellery line to support the organization. Featuring high quality silver and 14kt gold jewellery, a portion of all sales from the Precious Forever collection is donated to Make-A-Wish® Canada.
In 2019, Paris Jewellers partnered with Make-A-Wish® Canada on both our Mother’s Day and Holiday campaigns. In addition to the Precious Forever Collection, 5% of the sales from our Just Because Collection is also donated to Make-A-Wish® Canada.
That same year, Paris Jewellers was invited to assist in granting a wish. Together with Make-A-Wish® Canada, Chau & Trang organized an personalized shopping experience for a girl who wanted special matching necklaces for herself, mom, and sister—an experience that profoundly impacted us.
